Medical Trauma Kits for Sale
CSPD officers carry kits to provide first-level trauma care
Since 2012 Police Foundation of Colorado Springs has provided medical trauma kits to Colorado Springs Police Department patrol officers, sergeants, lieutentants and community service officers. The kits contain potentially life-saving medical supplies that have proven invaluable in a number of crucial incidents when officers had to initiate trauma care before advanced medical care arrived on scene.
Police Foundation of Colorado Springs is pleased to offer these kits for sale to the general public for $125. The sales proceeds will fund the Foundation's Richard Myers Scholarship Fund, which supports children of active, retired and fallen police officers and civilian department staff.
Each medical trauma kit contains a tourniquet, hemostatic gauze, emergency trauma dressing, chest seal, EMT shears, trauma pad and two pair of nitrile gloves.

I am voluntarily pruchasing the Medical Trauma Kit (Kit). I understand I am solely responsible for receiving training on proper use of Kit and that Police Foundation of Colorado Springs (PFCS) is not responsible for my training or use of Kit or for the performance of the Kit's contents. I understand the Kit contains medical equipment which is potentially life-saving, and understand use may not stop or may lead to death, or other damage/injury. In exhchange for being permitted to purchase Kit I hereby agree to hold harmless, indemnify, remise, release and forever discharge PFCS, its affiliates, subsidiaries, owners, officers, directors, agents, employees and attorneys from and against any and all judgments, actions, claims, suits, losses, damages, and expenses resulting from the use or ownership of Kit whether or not such injury or damage is caused by PFCS's negligence, passive or active, or arising from any other cause.
